I have some problems with steam. When i start DM and the sopnsores/suporst (Ubisoft, Arkane and Kuju) are sopose to show, the screen turns black whit a white stripe across. And when i get on a map (CTF 3) the bridge is invisible and the players are too.
Do you have ATI videocard? First of all try to update your video drivers. Do you have "indeo" codec on the game disc? Try to install it too. Perhaps it will help.
Right after posting this tread the game started working again, but only fore a few days.... Now it dosen't work at all. I have to uninstall and intall the game on steam if I want to play. So now I have checked out some stuff on DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Name: 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO, Manufacturer: ATI Techologies Inc., Chip Type: Radeon X1300 Series (0x7183)
So i think i have got a ATI videocard, but can't find out where to update it, if I need to. And i'm not how to find out if I have got an "indeo" codec on the game disc. If it is the code you need to type in a box when you're installing a game (AH14F-254DF-SFDGF-23FG5, something like that) i have got it. Or else pleace tell me how to find out
Yeah, it's Windows. But when i go to the link, I press "click here" and which one do i chose or dosen't it matter? It would s**k if i removea program and don't install a new (my dad is allready enought pissed on me for just playing online)
