So I can help with both sides of it really.

1. Warriors that block: The raised shields will block ANY arrow that is from a medium distance and on out, no matter where they are looking. That is inless they turn to the back or the side.

2. Close range is basically the only time you can take a warrior out. That or they are fighting another enemy and you decide to kill them either way you hit them haha.

Remember the weak spots of the warrior (head and feet/legs) At medium distance and on in. They must crouch or jump to block the shots. Most likely and hardly have I even seen them do it. So always try to get that first shot in for major damage ( let them come to you with a full knocked draw for your arrow)

That is just how you deal damage, but you wanted to know how to kill them am I right?

The best ways are as follows.

1. Bramble (They can't hit you if they can't really move, plus they are an easier target)
2. Fire (just hit them for either 50-60 damage and run away, untill they are about done burning, then do it again for the kill)
3. Drill shot (85 pts max 50 pts minimum. Talk about an easy kill
4. Flare (for a lower level archer, flare does a lil extra damage, but remember a lil slower arrow and not as much range)
5. Poison (only use it before they lock on, then strafe around them, that way they can't really lock on, When they are poisoned there lock on range is decreased/

Lastly, combinations work hand in hand as well. If your a moderate level say around 5, bramble them for 45 damage and then full knock a fire arrow or all in all just be created with High damage weapons

When they lock the stop the zig zag automatically, that is a good time to shoot them. If thats not the case then, they are zigzagging. just run away from them. They will blow all there stamina doing that and making it take longer to get to you as well. Making Archers faster than warriors just cause they are running back and forth :P

Though you guys just want to hit them ehh? The best way is to just aim straight, they have to cross the middle point sometime, and they cross the middle twice. So actually its more statistical than anything. Here I will do a lil diagram :P

They are running back and forth back and forth. If you think about it though, they cross the middle of your sight twice rather than just once on the sides so it would look like this

If you don't try to go over it and think about live combat, i'm sure it will come to you. And if you do get it, look at the chances you would have to hit them compared to the time it would take to get to you? you can just fire a few straight arrows and be sure to get at least 1 hit or so, and when they want to strike you, you evade them with the tactics mentioned above. They must lock on before they can hit you, and if they don't use lock on such as me, then your already a much harder target to hit anyways :P

If it is the normal shield, then yes full damage... in less anti magic, but it really does not help..... as for safeguard if you hit it, no damge u must use the "spalsh damage" inorder to kill them
