I will make a short quiz for logic in this thread which (if properly answered) will give you a promotion in our ranking system (You need to have 7 correct answers).
The test might be hard for the most of you, but the price is fair.
There are a few rules for it.
-Do not make fun of the questions.
-Do not send the answers to others.
-Do not post the answers here.
-Answers must be sent to me via PM or mail.
-Do not answer with a simple word only, but try to explain a little how you got to the solution.
If you gain a promotion to a high rank you might also be debated for an admin user for one of our servers ingame.
There will be 8 "puzzles" and you can skip one. Even if you're not sure of the answer, type it and send it to me. 1.) Roof of a wooden house does not have the same incline on both sides of it. The left part of the roof is under a 60° and the right part of the roof is under the 70° angle. There is a rooster right in the middle of the roof and lays an egg. If there is no wind blowing, on which side will the egg fall?
2.) The next riddle might be known to most of you, but I do not want just the answer, I want the proceedure how you got to that answer. In addition I want 2 different proceedures instead/along of/with the known one.
A man stands 100 meters south from the bear. He makes 100 footsteps to the east, turns to the north and shoots toward north and shots the bear. What color was the bear?
3.) Which one is more correct?
-Yolk from the egg is white.
-Jolk from the egg is white.
4.) There is a city called Dresden.
-Not even two citizens of Dresden have the same number of hair on their head.
-No citizens have exactly 518 hair on their heads.
-In the city there are more citizens than there are hair (on their head) on ANY citizen of Dresden.
Which is the biggest possible number of residents of the Dresden city?
5.) Which picture is he looking at?
-A man is staring into a portret.
-Another man asked him: "Whose picture are you looking at?"
-The first man answered: "I do not have brothers or sisters, but father of this man is son of my fathers." (all the man is stating is about the picture)
Whose picture was the man looking at?
6.a) There are two kind of people living on this isle -- Knights (they always tell the truth and nothing else) and Squires (they always tell lies and nothing else)
On this very island there are three different people living: A, B and C. Each one of them is either a knight or a squire. A and B say:
-A: "We are all squires."
-B: "Exactly one of us is a knight."
Who are A, B and C?
6.b) Two residents of the island state:
-A: B is a squire.
-B: A is a knight.
Do you think A is a knight or a squire? And what is a person B?
6.c) There were two residends of the island and they were both resting under a palm tree.
You ask one of them: "Is anyone of you a knight?"
The man answers and you know the answer to your question.
What was the man you asked, a knight or a squire? And what was the other person?
(I gave you enough information for this question, don't worry.)
