Nope since DM doesn't work with steam IDs's... and i doubt that it would make much of a difference though since most people are playing annonymous. This would result in the server 'recording' the names and creating a huge list of different nicks for the same person. Anyway, I thought the server were slow enough already? :P

DM Tavern had a ranking system if i'm not mistaken. i never bothered to ask how it worked and now Tavern is gone. but speedy is right: the only real way to "remember" a player is by name. change your name, and all is gone. also, you could simply play as e.g. Turalyon or Hell and everything would be upside down again. Applause from the audience, please!
IP adresses usually get auto-changed when your router reconnects to the internet (every night). you could use a static IP if i'm not mistaken, but 99,99% of the other players won't Steam IDs would be the only REAL way to identify a player, but Dark Messiah doesn't support them (which is why for example permanent bans are pretty difficult to realize). Applause from the audience, please!
