What games do you guys play online too, except DMoMM ? Me for example, i play Warcraft 3 TFT, sometimes CS and new CoD4.

I prefer to play old school quests. You know Sierra's series, Space quest, King’s quest etc… And I really fond of «Monkey island series» by Ron Gilbert. I also like «Myst»-like quests.
Right now I am playing Assassin Creed. And patiently waiting for a new quest «Gray Meter» form the maker and mother of my favorite quest trilogy «Gabriel Knight mystery» - Jane Jansen.

By the way, why don’t you do same thing like in Russian forum. Just create new thread named like a game you like in «Other Games forum» and discuss it.

I don't play any other games except DM at the moment (if i did, i would have no time for real life ) , so i just gonna say what games i really liked before^^

Gothic 1 (2001) and 2 (2003) :really great games (they are a bit in the style of Oblivion, but Gothic 1 and 2 have something Oblivion does not have... i call it "soul").. i played Gothic 3 too, but i was disappointed...Gothic 3 was more like Oblivion- imo it lost its "soul"

Max Payne 1 and 2 (2001 and ..2004 i think): 3rd-person-shooters wich one of the greatest storys in a shooter ever, and the inventor of bullet-time (slowmotion) in games

The Hitman games (played it until Blood Money) : i rly liked them... i loved to stay "undercover".. and in the right moment, the sniper rifle comes out of the bag...

The Chronicles of Riddick:Escape from Butcher Bay (2004): this game is a blockbuster. amazing story,atmosphere and cutscenes; the coolest hero in a game ever tongue and the gameplay is good ,too

Medieval 2 and Rome : i like the scenario and the epic battles

GUN(2005): a kind of GTH (grand theft horse) in the wild wild west! good story and atmosphere; the prove that good atmosphere does not need good graphics

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 (2000): The gameplay was not that blanced, but i really liked it. Great cutscenes! I had to laugh so much when i watched them

Flatout 2 : a nice fun racer; nothing special, but it makes...fun smile

Quite old games, but really good ones happy

Btw, if anyone wanna play a bit Unreal Tournament 2004 of Flatout 2 online together with me, say it^^

btw, i forgot to mention Aquanox 1 and 2 (2001 and ...2003 i think); i really like them, they have a interesting atmosphere and story and really cool characters.
They are a kind of submarine simulation, but in fact they are egoshooters

Heh my first contact with gothic is from 2007 and i remember all my avatars and i remember how i won gothic 1 to 10-11 hours(no cheating)

In RPG games I always prefer to take a long road, it makes the game more alive, more to explore, more to enjoy the moment. I see no point in rushing things there.
But in my opinion Gothic II was best from the trio.

Your reasoning is excellent -- it's only your basic assumptions that are wrong.

Yep, Gothic 2 was amazing, but the addon The night of the Raven was not as good as it, i was a bit disappoited here too.
But both, Gothic 1 and 2 , have an unique atmosphere, think of the monastery in part 2 for example. The only place where Gothic 3 has an atmosphere like this is the northern area there (in german language it is called "nordmar")

Gothic 1 have best history but is very short,Gothic 2 dont have original history but isnt very short biggrin

.Gothics are very good German game but we(POL) have best rpg game-the witcher smile

Hm, to be honest , i dont understand the fighting system of aoc ( but it took me like 2 weeks to start understanding DM smile

) and the game seems to be in slowmotion all the time^^ but i will give it another try when i am bored of DM
